Scrap Our Stash Challenge

)

I created this layout for the Scrap Our Stash Countdown Challenge.  My countdown reads as follows:
5 pattern papers
4 stickers (mostly on bottom left)
3 numbers (#2 Hot Cocoas, and I wrote both of my children's ages next to their picture in a small circle)
2 stamps (smiley face and yolo at bottom)
1 Spray - DeLusions turquoise on overlay piece

All In My Feelings

I am having the time of my life at this retreat this weekend.  The photo above is what God blessed me with this morning.  Won't he do it????

Scrap Diva Retreat is the place here I feel closest to God.  In these mountains, I feel like I can reach up and touch the sunrise and it makes me reflective.  This is an open weekend, which means that 8 of these women I am meeting for the first time.  One woman uses a walker and two are deaf.  We are black, white, latino, married, divorced, single, mothers, pet owners, sisters, daughters and  aunts...the whole gamut.  As  we laugh, talk, eat and scrap together, I realize that we all have a lot in common besides being crafty.  We really are Scrappin' Sisters.  And now we're all FaceBook friends.

Funny phrase of the night: "You are not the same candy apple that I bought at the fair 20 years ago!"

GrandDivas's Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone. I am at a ScrapBook Retreat in Murrieta at one of my favorite places, www.ScrapDivaRetreats.com. I am so motivated by the sketch challenges.

My son and I recently visited Willowbrook Apple Farm in Oak Glen, California and we had a grand time picking apples and making our own apple cider among other things.

I combined the Sketch Challenge at GrandDiva's November Sketch Challenge along with Rochelle's Tic Tac Toe Challenge (I used Top row {Fall Theme Layout, Border Punch and Thumb Punch, and Alphas)  (I also used Bottom Row-Journal Cards, 4+ Pattern Papers & Buttons).  I also combined Kelly's Scrappy Friends Color Challenge to match my fall layout.
