Sunshine & Our Memories

I love being an Auntie and take every opportunity to attend my nieces and nephews activities as much as I can.

I love these larger square photos, this one captured the fun of the day as we went to my other niece's soccer game.

Later I discovered that my niece had taken a selfie without me knowing. Typical teenager!

Of course I created this layout for a challenge from the ScrapRoom Facebook page.

I selected red, yellow and navy. I hope you like it.

July This or That Challenge

I LOVE CHALLENGES!!!!!

This Scrappy Friends Challenge is hosted by Rochelle Spears at http://rochellespears.blogspot.com/2016/07/july-this-or-that-challenge-reveal.html

And I chose to use a paper clip on a two page layout I did of a Spring Break Outing of my son and some friends.

July Scrappy Challenge

This is a layout that I did on a scrappy glamping trip that I went on this month. The pictures in the layout are actually of a scrapbook retreat that I went to in June. I went with my church group and our name is the Holy Scrappers since we found a cute red tshirt that says Holy Scrap! I'm participating in the scrappy Friends Challenge hosted by Brenda Ragsdale at http://granddivasscrappyplace.blogspot.com/

Here's the sketch:

And here's my rendition:
I had the best time at the retreat, as always. It's our annual outing.

Documented Swag

I love Challenges on Scrap Our Stash.  It's the only way that I do layouts now!  I am entering the challenge on  http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2015-12-03T06%3A00%3A00-08%3A00#sthash.kOGKqUs0.dpuf and in my Facebook Group: WhoGivesAScrap!?

The challenge was to use one item from supplies that you already have from each letter of the word D-I-E-C-U-T-S. Here is my December effort, submitted at the last minute of course.
D- Date
I-Index Card
E-Ephemera
C-Chipboard (embellishment)
U-Uniball Pen
T-Ticket
S-Sticker
I love my son's SWAG (as he calls it).  He likes to look good and he grew up in the digital era, which means that he is not afraid to take pictures. LOL

Every Day I'm Hustling!

This is my favorite photo from our photo at my Annual Sista Girls Retreat. Yes, we had a photo shoot with a real photographer! Along with the first rate meals and massages that we enjoyed this weekend, there's really no other way to do it!

I purchased this paper pack at Scrapbook Expo last weekend and used it to complete this layout to complete 4 challenges:

Scrappy Friends Three Challenge Layout

Hello friends! National Scrapbook Day still in effect!  I'm still retreating with the girls.  We're getting ready for the pajama contest and sipping cool frosty beverages.  I love scrapping pictures of my scrappy friends when we're hanging out.  On these pictures, we're hanging out at the Ontario Scrapbook Expo in 2014.  The theme was Costume Ball and we were ready!

As usual, I'm combining challenges.  Here's my rendition:

Based  on Brenda Ragsdale's layout challenge

along with

and

Rochelle Spears - May Tic Tac Toe Challenge:

I used pink JUTE on the green ARROW and SCALLOP PUNCH at the very bottom, under the pinkpolka dot washi tape. Thanks for coming by.

Just Chillin'

Hi people, It's National Scrapbook Day and I am celebrating at a Scrapbook retreat with my fun loving and crafty friends.  I just finished my first layout of the day.

I am following the May challenge for Scrap Our Stash at: http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/p/current-challenges.html

The challenge was to create a layout and include an item from your stash for each letter in the word E-M-B-O-S-S.

I used E (enamel dots), M (mist on green banner, it was white), B (banners), O (owl), S (striped paper), S (stickles on just chillin')

I love combining challenges so I also utilized the following sketch challenge:

May 1-7 Sketch #147 at www.sketchesinthyme.blogspot.com

May 1-7 Sketch #147

Here's my rendition.  I hope that you like it. I love scrapping my children's baby pictures.  It always stirs up such tender memories.  My son would pick up the video game remote every time his sister or god-brother would walk away.  He really thought he was playing.

I also love using my Fun Stampers Journey product on my layouts.  I used FSJ banner dies. They're so cute and a great addition to any project.  To order: www.funstampersjourney.com/40

Happy National Scrapbook Day!
